  The cleanliness of the room was let down by mould in the bathroom wet areas - shower, sink. we had to ask for several days in a row before it was finally actioned and then it was poorly cleaned. this is really letting down an otherwise great hotel and was below acceptable standards. the remainder of the room and bathroom areas were clean. the hotel has beautiful tranquil grounds and great proximity to sentosa attractions. breakfast selections were good and the hotel accomodated our early morning departure with a delivered breakfast (in place of our included buffet) which we really appreciated.

  The chinese staffs at shutters restaurant should learn how to speak english.it's annoying when we asked them in english and they spoke to us back in mandarin.

  When i was at the hotel, my room was missing a desk chair and the room slippers were not provided. the hotel staff did not even ask about the newspaper preferences and thus did not send me any in the morning.

  The frontline staff were not friendly and do not welcome guests in a sincere way. when asked how to get to the pool, staff simply pointed instead of guiding or showing us the way, nor use professional language. it was rather disappointing.
