Comments : The hotel quite obviously prides itself on its sleek modernity, but there isn't any particular warmth to the personnel. Efficiency, yes, but a guest does not get the sense that s/he is of any special importance. The hotel clearly considers itself hip, but the effect is a little sterile. We asked if housekeeping could make our twin beds into a double and were told it wasn't possible. It was, and we did it ourselves each night. However, it seems a small thing that the hotel could have done for a great amount of guest goodwill. Situated at Robertson Quay, there are certainly plenty of drinking and dining options, but the hotel is NOT close to the MRT (approx. 20 minutes walk from either Chinatown or Clarke Quay MRTs). If a traveler didn't wish to pay for the over-priced food options at the quay, though, there is a fabulous hawker center right behind the Chinatown MRT that has great food at very reasonable prices. I would only recommend the hotel to certain friends, not all.

Comments : We were kept over an hour to be booked in after the stated check in time.The staff were not welcoming at all or helpful and looked down their noses at us as we arrived with rucksacks rather than matching gucci bags!!!!!!!!

Comments : very nice location at the riverfront, not too much tourists but close to the spots to be, nice room to the riverside, do not ask for room to streetside because of a big constructionsite across, nice pool but with view to constructionsite wich will end 2008, poor breakfast in icecold restaurant, other bars and restaurants in the hotel and nearby are very nice. I recommend breakfast at one of the restaurants at the riverfront within a 5 min walk.
